MEEI Learning Center

With generous assistance from Pilgrims of Ibillin, Ashray, and Desktops for Peace, the Learning Center facility on the MEEI campus opened its doors in March 2017. This unique center operates after school hours, hosting students from various schools. The professional and dedicated staff of the Learning Center gives a warm and inclusive feel as it brings together students and many of our alumni who have chosen teaching as their career path. The Learning Center empowers students with skills, confidence, and strategies to thrive in their transition to the general education classroom. Moreover, the center enables students with learning difficulties to experience success and to accept and value their learning experiences in a safe, supportive environment.

Target audience:

  • Primary school students in Ibillin and beyond.
  • Middle school students in Ibillin and beyond.
  • High school students in Ibillin and beyond.
  • High school graduates applying for admission to universities and colleges.
  • Current college and university students.
  • The general public.

Programs:

  • Enrichment courses in a variety of subjects according to the curriculum of the Ministry of Education.
  • Extracurricular activities, including art courses (music, drama, folklore), chess, preparation for the psychometric test, and English conversation courses for adults.
  • One-on-one tutoring.
